Bet for fun, not for income
PropEdge publishes statistical projections for entertainment. Even a good projection
is just an estimate — outcomes are uncertain and no system wins every time. Sports
betting should be a form of entertainment you can afford, never a way to make money
or recover losses.
Simple rules that keep it healthy
- Only ever risk money you can comfortably afford to lose.
- Set a budget and a time limit before you start — and stick to them.
- Never chase losses by betting more to "win it back."
- Don't bet when you're upset, stressed, or under the influence.
- Take regular breaks. It's a game, not a job.
- Keep gambling money separate from money you need for bills and essentials.
Warning signs to watch for
- Betting more than you planned, or more than you can afford.
- Chasing losses or trying to win back what you lost.
- Lying to friends or family about your gambling.
- Feeling anxious, restless, or irritable when you can't bet.
- Borrowing money or neglecting responsibilities to gamble.
If any of these feel familiar, please reach out for support — it works, and it's free.
